Cover Theme - coloured quadrants & halves (non-crime)

None of these are crime but I have bought Lessons in Chemistry. 

 

Cover Theme: On Deck

I've seen quite a few covers featuring boats and swimming pools but these two are the most similar. Araminta Hall's Hidden Depths is set on the Titanic - look out for more on Titanic-set crime fiction in a later post.

I spotted Tim Weaver's new book on Facebook and thought the cover reminded me slightly of The Monogram Murders. And then several more similar covers popped up on the library catalogue and then I was shelving Liz Pichon's Shoe Wars (junior fiction) and turned it over and lo another golden light breaking through the door!

Cover Theme - Stone Circles
